Wonderfully complicated and fun!

The title and the emerging puzzle really had me going. Something in a forest - but no green anywhere? I always play zoomed way in to separate the nodes, so I didn't know what I was making until I finished and the image snapped out. I'm still puzzled by the sudden change in average playtime from as little as 15-20 minutes sometimes to well over an hour recently. This took me about 40 minutes. Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice.

One of your best large puzzles yet. The final image really conveys the subjects well with the light and shadow, and there weren't any convoluted sections where multiple nodes were used where one would suffice. Beautiful result!
