Pure white irritated me at first but I'm getting used to it. If I double click on a node more than twice and the lines still don't disappear, I figure I got it right. If a connection makes a number disappear, that helps as well.

Please don’t use pure white. It’s frustrating as it looks like a pairing is wrong when it’s actually right. Not fun.
