I'm feeling pretty sure that's a banana flower, which hangs beneath the banana stalk itself. Not sure what kind of bird. I started the puzzle at the bottom and I thought it was going to be a Sacred Heart image at first. Didn't find out until it was totally finished and I saw the image all out together. Good one!
