I remember the apple peeler!

My granny had one and I loved to peel apples when I was a kid!

I remember having one of these growing up. As soon as I saw the crank, I knew what it was. Clever use of the excess peel.

You may know you've played too many Nodes when you start imagining triangles on your dinner partner's face! (No I didn't tell her I was doing that.) Fun puzzle today..I felt I was really building something.

My Ma used to yell at me because I would try to peel everything except an apple with one of these things. Cucumber, orange, onion, ball of cheese, cotton candy, giant chocolate easter bunnies. Teeeehehehehehe those were younger simpler times. Don’t worry, I still loved chinchillas back then though. And I didn’t try to peel them.

I started at the handle and knew very quickly what this was. My mom had an apple peeler when I was a kid and I loved to turn the handle, but who wouldn't? It's probably the funnest tool in the whole world to use.

Yes! Apple peeler! I could not imagine at first what I was looking at, but now my stomach is growling for a beautiful MacIntosh (I like the peel, too, though). Those delicious apples have almost disappeared in stores because, apparently, people want crispy apples now. None of them taste very good, though. I live in Hawaii, anyway, and nobody here grows or imports them. 😢 They still use em in most apple sauces at least... Nice puzzle, and I really liked the Red in it!
