Mine

A raven! I used to have a paired couple who returned every year to a big Pacific oak outside our house, and one year, they hatched a baby. Such a privilege to watch him go through the steps Mom and Dad put him through to get him to fledge! It took weeks, but off they all flew one day, returning without junior months later. I've since learned the kids don't return with Mom and Dad because they're competition for food now. The kids all join a flock to goof off and grow until they find a mate.
