I love eating pomegranates. I wish they weren’t so expensive in New Jersey. My brother in California had a tree on his front lawn and he said it used to make a mess!!

WOWEE! What a gorgeous sight to behold! The seeds look incredible! Food of the Greek gods! Aphrodite planted the first pomegranate tree on Cyprus, and Hades made poor Persephone eat the seeds, binding her to him eternally. She was happily returned to her mother, Demeter, each spring (so the fields ripened), but she had to return to Hades, weeping, every autumn (plants went dormant). Those Greeks have a good story for everything!
