Is it maybe a pika? I think a chinchilla would have thicker fur, longer back legs, a grayer coat, and bigger ears? And I think a hamster might have a slightly fatter, more oval head. But what do I know?! I can say it's pretty dang cute, though. A childhood friend had a couple of pikas, and true enough, that was a loooong time ago, but this guy looks very much like them, in my memory at least. Love interesting animals! Thanks!
