Kakitsubata is Japanese for a type of iris flower. I guess the kimono has a styliized version of them on it

Really pretty. Perfect spot for a chinchilla to hide under. In fact, I think it might be a shrine to a chinchilla. Mine looks similar

I thought the same, Ladybug. I don't remember seeing iris when I lived in Honokaa but the plumeria made up for it. And the Lilikoi 😋
